Introducing Quatis Press!

Olá! Welcome to Quatis Press. We’re a husband-and-wife team of game designers living in Boston with our dog, Roo, excited to share our passion for introspective games.

Our first release, 1590: A Witching Year, is inspired by the North Berwick Witch Trials in Scotland in 1590. In a solo journaling game format, layers take on the persona of an everyday person just trying to survive the witch hunt as paranoia and fear grip their community. It’s the first of what will be a trilogy of games, so keep an eye out in the coming months for 1590: The Burning Times.

We have several other projects we’re currently refining over here in the office space in our apartment that we’re affectionately calling “the workshop,” including a board game about trying to become a ludicrous dictator, and a solo game about becoming a monster at the hands of a pantheon of fickle gods.
